Review content:
Marco two is a salon positioned to be in the category of the best salons in the city. I have found that I get a good color here, but I must say that the atmosphere is not so great.
I am rarely asked if I want something to drink while I am waiting for my stylist. My stylist is professional and skilled which is the best part of the visit. It feels as though there is an atmosphere of ambivalence, I do not feel as though my business is trying to be earned. I often am put on hold when trying to make an appointment, often wait in my robe at the front for my clothes, and have never been asked if I want to book my next appointment when I am checking out.
The staff is extra friendly (kind of gossipy) with clients and a sense of professionalism is not maintained. I find this in stark contrast to Salon 7 where service efficiency and professionalism are # one.
This salon is losing it's edge. My hope is that it wakes up and moves beyond resting on it's laurels to recreate itself and find vitality in a city where it's competitors will leave it in the dust if it doesn't change.
