Businiess name:  Helping Hands Veterinary Clinic

The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the walk-in clinic aspect means you do wait your turn and it can be frustrating, admittedly. Sure, I'd rather be able to make an appointment, but offsetting that is that we are greeted by name, with smiles and affectionate pats and neck ruffles for the "patients." We take 2 aging dogs with very disparate health conditions to this clinic, a princess cat with her own issues and occasionally present a screeching cockatiel. Each of them gets the attention and treatment their conditions warrant, and it has always appeared to me that the staff genuinely cares about the animals. Last fall we planned a pet-less vacation and hired a sitter. We were concerned about emergency treatment in our absence and how the sitter would be able to get that treatment without having to pay it himself. Dr. "G" made certain the files reflected that our sitter could authorize treatment in our absence and that anything needed would be advanced on credit until our return, when we could settle up. You call around and see how many other clinics are willing to do that! I am new to the holistic approach to treating chronic ailments for animals, but I appreciate the opportunity to explore it. The options for traditional treatments as well as the holistic ones being offered at the same clinic make the clinic's appeal even stronger. I can strongly recommend this clinic, Dr. G and his staff.
