Take my word for it. I had surgery by Dr. Jenkins in January 2005 and was hurting even worse after the surgery. I thought I was going crazy or becoming a pussyfoot cry baby. All I know is that I was given as much medicine as I wanted. Not in quantity but quality and high milligrams of the best. After almost two years waiting for surgery or something to help me I was dependant on the narcotics. My surgery did not fuse and Dr. Jenkins told me I had arthritis like my mother and that is the reason for my continued pain.
I went to another doctor for a second opinion and was x-rayed to see why I was still hurting so bad after a year past my surgery with Dr. Jenkins. Well the new doctor told me that I needed surgery ASAP to take out the equipment that was put there by Dr. Jenkins. He also told me the reason my back never fused was because the equipment was not properly attached to my spine. I had another blood test and was told I had know arthritis and that they don't know why I was told I did.
I am glad to say today I am walking just like I did before my injury and I give all of the credit to Dr. Remindino at Mercy Hospital. He is the Chief Nuero Surgeon and he gave me my life back and I am now able to provide like a man should for my four kids and stay at home wife. That is the way I want it and am glad I can have it.
I was 26 years old when I started seeing Dr. Jenkins and by the time my second surgery was done and I was fused I was 30 years old.
