Businiess name:  Carolina Crossing Restaurant

Review content:
We are retired and travel the world in our Winnebago motorhome and always try to find a good local restaurant wherever we visit for any time. While volunteering at the nearby Kings Mountain National Military Park, SC we happened upon Carolina Crossing Restaurant. We found good country food at a very reasonable price served by the most friendly people we have ever met. While the dinners and lunches are fantastic, we got hooked on the hamburger basket. An old fashioned burger cooked the way we like it and a generous portion of French fries--as far as we know you can't get this anywhere else in the world anymore. Breakfast is great. We even tried the Red Eye gravy on grits (not a winner for us, but certainly unique). The staff has made us feel like family in a very short time. Obviously we like this place and have added it to our short list of The Very Best Restaurants in the Whole Wide World. There are only four on that list.
