My experience with this business is a bit different than the rest of the reviews that I have read. My story is different because I am not a customer. I actually applied for a job at the hospital. I did call the hospital to ask if they were hiring or accepting applications before physically going into the. I did not want to waste a trip to the Animal Hospital if they were not hiring. Upon being told on the telephone that the hospital was in fact hiring, I immediately drove to the hospital to fill out and turn in the application. I would like to say that all of the women working at the hospital were nice, friendly, and helpful. That is not my complaint here. When speaking to the vet concerning my schedule and available hours to work I made it clear that I was only applying for a receptionist job and NOT a kennel worker. The vet invited me back for a "working interview" the upcoming Monday. For this day I would not get paid. Upon arriving that Monday I was not greeted or told what I was to do by the vet. I was instructed to follow a woman around in the kennels all day instead of a receptionist. After five hours of doing what I was not there to train for I approached the vet. He then told me that they were not in fact hiring and that if I didn't want to work in the kennels then I would not have a job. Obviously- since that is not what I applied for. This was a VERY unprofessional and rude act by the vet. Not only did I not get paid for 6 hours of pure work, but I was disrespected and lied to. I would not recommend.
