Review content:
I've taken classes at most of the yoga studios in Central Florida, and they're all good. We're lucky to have some great teachers in the area, but none of them can compare to Tymi Howard, the owner of Guruv Yoga. She is simply amazing. Though she gives modifications that make any pose achievable even for beginners, she also demonstrates the advanced variations that will really inspire you. She believes in her students and soon they begin to believe in themselves. It won't take long for you to remove "I can't" from your vocabulary.
Tymi's specialty is a very athletic vinyasa flow style of yoga that can be quite challenging. She and her protégé, Alyssa Kaplan, also teach beginner and intermediate Hatha classes, and Tymi, Julie Schuette, and Debra Corso teach Ashtanga classes as well. There are classes appropriate for every level from beginner to advanced, as well as specialty prenatal and seniors classes.
I regularly take classes from all four teachers, and they're all outstanding. But the best thing about the studio is the atmosphere. The four teachers are like sisters, and their warmth and friendliness really rubs off on the students, so every class is like a family gathering where we all help and encourage one another and have a lot of fun.
