Businiess name:  Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital
Review by:  Bob J.
Review content:
I will NEVER take my animals back to Tierrasanta Veterinary Hospital. I worked in the veterinary field as a vet. nurse for several years. Therefore, my knowledge of field is high. I had a situation where I had to send my friend to drop off my animals after having a lengthy discussion w/ the receptionist confirming what services my dogs needed. Well, unfortunately, this hospital pulled a "car mechanic" operation, and told my friend that my animals "needed" all these other unnecessary services. He, believing the Dr to be honest, bought them ALL. They took him for a ride for over $2,250!!! I was quoted an estimate of $700!! They sold him sooo many things he did not need on the premise that "they had to be done for the sake of the pet's health." Bottom line, you cannot trust this hospital or its' staff to tell you the truth-- they will tell you what makes them a profit. Like I said, I know this, because I know veterinary medicine. Do NOT take your pets here. Their interest is their bottom line first, your pets' well being second. Remember, actions speak louder than words! I'd say this was comparable to a man sending in his wife to get an oil change, and she comes home with a new engine. Buyer Beware!!!
