Review content:
Your first impression of the venue is that it is beautiful and economical...However, when you try to personalize your event it is not at all what you would have expected. Celebrating at the Garden Room has got to be worst than getting married in Las Vegas in a drive through ceremony. Everything is rushed. They do not know how to think outside of the box.
I was the maid of honor in a wedding where the security who does not watch the gifts (as he is hired to do) informed the best man and I that it was our responsibility to "keep everyone in line". Places that the bride and I viewed prior to choosing the Garden Room were more expensive but offered more amenities and more flexibility. It wasn't worth what the bride thought she was going to save.
One last thing. At the 30minute rehearsal, yes 30 minutes (no if, ands or buts about it) when the pianist wanted to use the restroom just 15 minutes before our rehearsal time the staff opted for her to wait until the scheduled time. Their customer service ranks below the worst you could ever imagine.
There are numerous places that can accommodate your style just do your research. Good Luck!
