Review content:
We recently moved to the area from the West Coast and were trying to locate a competent groomer. Two recommendations directed us to Best Friends. After two visits to Best Friends, I will never return. The first visit was to bathe my dogs and have their nails trimmed. I specifically mentioned to the groomer that the Poodle was licking the back of the Lab generating a hot spot. When I went to pick up the dogs I found them crated together w/the Poodle licking and aggravating the hot spot. Second visit was to have the poodle groomed. Obviously, the groomer had no experience in grooming Poodles. He was cut unevenly, hair in ears not trimmed, ears not cleaned. He looked so bad that I contacted another groomer and brought him over for an evaluation -- the consensus was that whoever cut him was either totally incompetent or he was was groomed by someone learning the trade w/out adequate supervision. I should have learned after my first experience.
