Review content:
I've recently observed the Ca$h Converter$ store in search of Old School Audio to fulfill my current sonic needs. When I found a unit that I wished to purchase, I had asked a Sales Representative for some assistance in verifying the condition of the item. When I was about to test the item that I wished to purchase, this particular Sales Representative went to another Rep and asked him a question about this particular item. The next Rep quipped that the item was not working and should immediately be pulled off the showcase floor. I was not allowed to test or observe the item any further and I thought nothing of it until I came back to the same store a few days later.
I asked the same Sales Rep who had previously whisked away my preferred item from me about the availability of the item. I told him I knew a qualified Service Technician who had agreed to check the item for me. This Sales Rep apologetically explained the item had been sold to someone else with no explanation as to why I couldn't buy it myself. A 'Lil Shady!
On another occasion a friend had seen a product I wished to purchase and informed me of its presence in this same store. When I phoned and asked of the item's availability (Including the make, model number, and physical location in the store), I was insistently told that the item was not present for purchase. The very day after this communication, the same friend found the very item in question located in the very same spot when visiting this store. I knew that on the previous day the Sales Rep on the phone didn't even bother to check as I kindly asked (They simply couldn't be bothered to do so - Lying to me when asked an honest question) from the tone of their voice. This bothered me enough to mention it to my favorite and most technically qualified Sales Rep (Who we reverentially refer to as "Danny-Boy" - 'Cause I can't quite remember his real name) when I next patronized this store. He apologized for this occurrence and told me to ask for his specific assistance when phoning.
I've made several satisfactory purchases from this store and the above described events prompted this particular review. I will continue to frequent this store despite the "Shady-ness" that I refer to.
Feel free to observe this particular store yourself.
