Review content:
Zia's is stuck in the 50s -- the food as well as the decor. You're not going to get fresh tomatoes or mozzarella or anything remotely subtle here, just a bunch of the old standbys. If you're a big provel fan... and you like your red sauce very sweet... and having your entire meal deep-fried makes you smile... sure, hit Zia's. But if you've got a taste for food that doesn't land like a load of lead in your stomach and that doesn't make you think you've flashed back to the era of the Rat Pack, you may want to give it a pass.
