I saw **Taka** at Hayato and he was absolutely wonderful. He did a free consult and strand test for me several weeks before my appointment.
On the day of the process he was fantastic. He explained everything as it happened. He didn't push products. And he did not mention the obvious - that I needed a haircut badly. (I was waiting to see how the process worked before deciding on a cut.) He is also sweet, sweet, sweet. So nice.
The straightening worked like magic. My hair is smooth and swingy and shiny. I can let it air dry or finger dry it with a hair dryer. But I do not need to blow it out with a round brush or use an iron.
I had hair straightening (not Japanese) several years ago and it was a disaster. Burned frizzy hair! So I was skeptical about Liscio. But this was an amazing experience from start to finish. Thank you Taka. I will be moving 5 hours away in a month and you can be sure I'll be back in NYC to have my touch ups.
