I know it's a drive to Newton for people in Wichita, but it's really not that far! Especially when you consider the "goodies" when you get there! I asked for a plant store and a fabric store when I first moved to Kansas and I thankfully was steered in the right direction! Charlotte's is so charming with an abundance of fabrics for quilters and seamstresses alike.
I do some quilting, but I'm mostly a seamstress and when I found Charlotte's and her plethora of fabrics, I was delighted! I cannot go to her shop without spending at least an hour. I usually go without my husband. Charlotte has a wealth of knowledge and hires people who are very talented as well. It is such a pleasure every time I make a trip to one of my favorite all around fabric stores in the nation! If you sew and haven't found her place, you need to make the trip, I don't think you'll be disappointed!
