Review content:
My son recently stopped his member ship at the local Appleton WI Gold's Gym a few months ago.
The girl who waited on him at the register failed to check the computer at the time to see that he still owed $15.00. $15.00 that he could have payed at that time from his pocket.
Because of that employee's mistake Gold's Gym holds HIM responsible for HER lack of attention and he now owes $70.00!!!!!! Think of your own jobs...who is held responsible for financial errors on YOUR job Gold's member? YOUR customer? Why should Gold's members pay an exhorbitant price due to a Gold Gym employee who can't take a minute to check your account for you?
This is a kid in college who also has a heart problem and has been hospitalized twice since January this year. His bank called today to say his savings is in arrears due to Gold's Gym continuing to take from his account despite his going there personally to stop his membership several months ago. And they have sent his account to ABC Financial their billing company. Despite the fact that it is their employee error!!!!
Watch your account if you decide to stop!!!!! They will rip you off!!!!!!
I have e-mailed Gold's Corporate re: Brian's account.
