Review content:
This place marks up prom dresses higher than any other I've found in the area. They are in a lousy location by Midway airport (not the best neighborhood) and as others mention - they cram a lot of dresses in a small space. There's nowhere for a parent to sit while waiting - and the staff is fairly rude and rushed. You can get the same dresses - for less elsewhere (either via the internet - or from other prom/bridal salons - at the "normal" retail price). They even double the retail on the gloves!! They want $40 for $20 (full retail) gloves!! My daughter bought her dress at a local bridal/prom dress salon in Naperville (for about $80 less than what Peaches wanted) - and paid just $20 for the same gloves her friend paid $40 for at Peaches.
I strongly recommend to others - that even if they go there to try on gowns - they buy them elsewhere. The only thing this place has going for it is they have a large selection available to try-on. However - paying ABOVE full retail - particularly in the neighborhood they are in - is insane!
