This school is a large public school that is integrating school based standards into their reading (SFA) and math programs. Communication between parents and the school is encouraged through many programs such as the parent newsletter and many school events throughout the year such as:
Open House
Parent Teacher Conference
Book Fair
Christmas program
Spelling Bee
Talent Show
Field Day
Title One Meetings
There has been numerous principals at this elementary school in the last few years but the school is striving towards improving their reading and math test scores.
