Review content:
A friend took us to a restaurant that we did not know existed. It is Fitzgerald's on Nebraska Ave in New Port Richey. There was plenty of parking opposite the restaurant. We walked into the entrance and was greeted by a hostess. We chose to sit in the back room, where there were booths. There was also outside seating, most diners out there were smoking. We had to walk through that area to get to our seats. On being seated we were given menus. The waitress came and took our drink orders. The waitress, Rene, was very sociable and gave us very good service. Three of us decided on the Shepherd's pie and the other had a grilled chicken salad. This was a great plateful. Being English I was pleased to see that the shepherd's pie tasted as good as we make. They have a very good menu with prices starting at $2.95 to $12.95. Overall the service and the food is great. We will certainly be going back, often.
We went back yesterday and ordered Mulligan stew. It was very good. We had a different server. Terry, she was as good as Rene and just as happy. What will we try next??.
