Businiess name:  New Horizon Child Care
Review by:  Ruth F.
Review content:
I also worked at a New Horizon Childcare for awhile and than quit...there mission statement is nothing like it really is. I have five years of childcare experience and this blew me away. The children are tossed from room to room because they "over book" the children for the classroom they are suppose to be in. They have no biting policy which is awful considering other children and staff are getting injured. For calling in sick, you have to go to work (spreading your germs around) until they find a replacement for you...does not make much sense. There is no communication between directors and staff. Over all it is a business, money making only, no one cares about the true reason you are in childcare, for the children. I would NOT suggest sending your child to a corporate childcare/preschool. Find one with small class sizes (not 24 toddlers to a room), and FRIENDLY staff who have been there a long time or are well trained. New Horizon is known for not keeping its staff long, and well its very apparent why.
