Review content:
I've been so disappointed with the rude staff and availability of after hours care. We needed the consulting nurse over a weekend. They didn't switch the phones over and they just rang and rang. When we needed to talk with a doctor during the lunch hour, the service was going to page Dr. Shorr and have him call us. He never called, and when I called the office again, Dr. Shorr was on vacation. The office staff is rude when making appointments, checking in, and paying. The fact that they have a poster with the examples of inappropriate dress visible to patients gives you a feel for the office.
The last straw for me was when we were checking in, the reception staff didn't even look at me, said, "I'll be with you in a moment". Then, a drug rep came in behind me. She jumped up, hugged the rep, and said, "go right on back, the dr is in his office". When drug reps are more important than patients, you know there's something wrong.
We switched to Valley Children's Clinic - located in the same building! I highly recommend Valley Children's Clinic as their doctors are stellar and highly experienced. The staff is kind, helpful and happy. I strongly belief the way the staff treat patients is a reflection of how the doctors treat the staff. We just couldn't trust Renton Pediatrics with our children's health and well being.
