Review content:
Many different artists sell their arts and crafts in this lovely shop. Upstairs there are some "works on paper" (like paintings, watercolors, etc.) but that is not the focus of this gallery. There are lots of ceramics, pottery, glasswork, things made of fabric, adorable cards. There is beaded jewelry and works with metals. The "wearable" art is unique and fun, and the prices throughout the store are pretty competitive (it's not overpriced). The Clever Hand Gallery is one of New England's oldest working artisan's cooperative, providing the visitor with a colorful array of art and fine American crafts for gifts, collecting and decorating. Staffed by the artists themselves, Clever Hand Gallery members will gladly assist you in finding that special gift. The shop is right in the heart of the Wellesley Centre shopping area, so it's a really fun area to walk around.
