Review content:
My son and I took kittens that we rescued from a pregnant cat that came to our home. We brought the stray in and let her have her kittens in our home. Once the kittens (7) were old enough we found homes for 5 of them. We tried to call this Humane Society many times. No one answered the phone. We drove there and the first impression was one of disgust. We had to ring the bell. A man answered and would not open the door more than a few inches. I told him our story and he said they could not take the kittens. There was a sign posted on the door telling you to call and make prearrangements. How can you make prearrangements if no one answers the phone? He would never open the door. A lady came to look at the cats in the shelter. He opened the door just so she could go in. She was not inside more than 15 seconds and came out and said the smell was disgusting. She decided to take one of our beautiful kittens home. I am going to contact the Regional Humane Society Organization to tell them of this behavior at this shelter.
