Review content:
Let's just say - I am disappointed.
I have lived in the Montlake neighborhood for one year, and have taken my garments to Jays' twice.
The first time I said I was not returning, but I thought why not give them another chance.
The first time I picked up my items and noticed a tag on my brand new sweater that read " stain on shirt could not be removed." Please consider this was the first time I had worn this black sweater. I searched and searched for the mysterious stain and never found it; however, what threw my off guard was: If you, as a business, have found a stain that you could not get out and have left a tag on my sweater - Why not communicate this to me before I leave your facility??? After all you are, supposedly, a second to none "fine cleaners."
My second experience was today. I had gone to pick up my scarf, of which I had dropped off a few days prior, and was estimated $4. To make a long story short. I paid $5.5. Its a scarf!!!
And it's not the measly $5.5, it's the principle.
In addition, the facility owners are not very friendly - it's nice to know that your money/business is appreciated.
Lastly, I would like to end this with a positive note; they did provide me with well alteration service. I might go back for that But that's a maybe.
