Businiess name:  Suburban Propane
Review by:  Craig S.
Review content:
I have been a customer for Suburban Propane of Grants Pass for two and half years. At that time I was assured that an employee of Suburban Propane would check on the amount of propane in the tank and when it got down to 20% they would fill it up. I have not had a problem with Suburban Propane until lately. My account is paid up. In Oct. 2006, I had my Propane Tank (200 gallon tank plus) filled by Suburban Propane and I paid in full by credit card. On Wednesday January 17, 2007, I called Suburban Propane emergency number to inform them that the gauge on the tank showed that I was almost out of propane. I ask them to come out and fill it up. They said that it was not my day for delivery and it would cost me an extra $150 for delivering it on a day that was not my day. I told them that I was not going to pay the $150 extra and I would wait and be cold. The next day I called Suburban Propane during their regular working hours. They informed me of the same thing. I told them I would wait. On Sunday, January 22, 2007 I called the Suburban Propane Company emergency number again to tell them the gauge was on zero. They again said I would have to pay $150 dollars to have it filled because it was not my day to get it filled. My day was apparently was Thursday. l told the Suburban Propane representative, since Suburban Propane refuses to fill my propane tank that Suburban Propane can come and take the propane tank away. Today is Thursday Jan. 25, 2007, two Thursday's has past since I said I needed propane. They have not come to either fill the propane tank or to take the propane tank off my property.
