Now, I am an admitted fabric store snob. I love cruising a fabric store for hours, so I never even gave Walmart's Fabric Department a second glance until some fabric caught my eye as I was pushin' the kidlins around the store. The prices are GREAT (average price is between $1-9 per yard) and there is a variety of fabric to choose from. I have found a great black and white patterned fabric, Thomas the Tank Engine fabric, Valentine's fabric...at a steal!!! There is not a wide selection of notions but at least you can save on the fabric which is SUPER!!. You can also purchase patterns for less from Simplicity in this department. You can find fabric, minimal notions, sewing machines, yarn and more here at half the cost of a fabric store. It is worth takin' a look, you never know what FABULOUS fabric find you may discover in that bottom stack!
