Review content:
On the radio they rave about the Venue or The Post Bar. The truth is those bars usually play crappy music and have terrible service. You have more luck getting a good drink at a water hole in Africa then a decent one at The Post or Venue. Drinks are way over priced.
No worries! There is a bar in Dearborn called The New Place Lounge for those who like good music, cheap drinks and plenty of ways to get your drinks.
Although New Place Lounge is draped with creepy animals from wall to wall, the food is good, its family owned and it really isn’t a hassle to get a drink. They have darts, a pool table and a couple electronic games for the big kid in all of you.
If you are looking for a place to dress nice and have a hip/new experience then New Place is not for you. However, if you want to come out with your friends and just relax, New Place is a great location away from the new downtown area of Dearborn. Be Nice to the regulars!!!
