Barnes and Noble Jensen Beach,3001 NW Federal Hwy, Jensen Beach Beautiful Babies (Storytime & Activities) & Terrific Twos (Storytime & Activities) Tuesdays 10:15-10:45 am for babies, 11-11:30 am for twos The Hoke Library, 1150 NW Jack Williams Way, Jensen Beach 0-24 months, two year-olds Book Buddies @ the Hoke Library Thursdays 10:30-11 a.m. The Hoke Library, 1150 NW Jack Williams Way, Jensen Beach 3-5 year-olds Borders Storytime- Stories, crafts, and snacks in the children's area of the store. Each time you go you can get a card stamped, and when it's filled you get $5 off your purchase. Border's has another storytime on Sun. at 3 p.m. that has the same craft as the following Wed. Wed. story times are geared more toward the younger children who are not yet in school, but all ages are welcome. Sun.s are more for the children who are in school. Wednesdays and Sundays 12:30-1:30 PM Wed., 3 PM Sun. Borders (Treasure Coast Mall) Duffy's Kids' Night- Kids order off the kids' menu for free. A talented balloon artist goes around to the tables to make balloon animals, characters, etc. for the kids. Wednesday nights 6:00 pm - close Duffy's Sports Bar & Grill, Downtown Stuart Families Jamin' Jensen Beach Thursday nights 5:30-8:30 pm Downtown Jensen Beach all ages Ladies Bible Study Tuesdays 9:30-11:30 AM Morningside Church, Fountain room:2180 SE Morningside Blvd. all- Contact: Laurie Buchanan MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) *Starts up again August 3, 2006* A Christian womens based group that meets once a week for fun and fellowship with other like-minded women who are looking to better their family life w/moral, Christian backing. We read books that encourage good parenting skills and husband/wife relationships. We also incorporate craft days and girls nights out. The children are babysat while just the women get together for an hour and a half. A lot of fun! Thursdays 9:30-11:00 a.m. www.mops.org Mothers with children 0-5 years-old Minsky Gym Parent/Tot Time- Cost is $1.68. There is free play, organized activities (Red Light/Green Light, What Time is it, Mr. Fox, dancing, more), a snack, and a craft project. This is very similar to the Wild & Wacky Wednesdays at Minsky, but this one is a half-hour longer and has the craft project at the end. Thursdays- Starts up again on August 17, 2006. 10:30-noon Minsky Gym on Darwin in PSL For parents and their children who are 2-5 years-old; however, children under 2 are welcome. Minsky Gym Wild & Wacky Wednesdays - Cost is $1.68. There is free play, organized activities (obstacle course, dancing, more), and a snack.
