Another thing we have planned is to go to COWBOYS, where they play country music and everyone that wants to can dance. They have a large dance floor. There are at least two bars and several pool tables. Even though the age group ranges from 23 to 45, there are younger and older folks there. They are located just off of North Academy Blvd. near Palmer Park Blvd. They also serve some really great food ... potato skins are great. Thursday nights are lady's night. They play old and new music and sometimes they have a country singer or group come in and then the admission is a bit more. Our friends told us that New Year's Eve will be "family night" this year so that is why we thought we might go there. My first time was just within the last month ... we had a "bacholorette lady's night out" the Thursday before the wedding. It was a fun time.
