Great moving experience!!!
I've moved within San Francisco and Los Angeles a few times before and each time was a nightmare: the $500 estimate was $1500 by the end of the move, the movers were intimidating thugs... you just couldn't win, so the act of moving because something to be "dealt with" vs. "done." Los Angeles Movers has changed that completely. They come to your place in advance, they give you a written figure, and that's all that you pay. None of this "we charged you $100 extra to wrap your TV in a blanket" stuff -- it's all included. Their advance person was super-friendly and professional, and the moving guys were SO nice and very careful, even with things that didn't seem delicate or important. So moving day, which we dreaded, turned out to be quick and seamless. Honestly, this is the ONLY service I will EVER use for moving in the future, because they're legit. I think that's what I like: in a business full of scammers, they're the legit ones.
