Oh my, where do I begin? Well, for starters let me say this store is quite unorganized. ESPECIALLY on black Friday with their 'door busters' in no particular place or order. It was *awful* and when you asked someone for help they were like "I don't know, I have no clue, or you're looking for what?" So frustrating and disappointing! And not to mention my friend was after a sewing machine they had for $60 as a door buster and they were all gone...they had only got in maybe 5. In my town there is about 35,000 people or more, this doesn't include any of the surrounding towns which are like a 15 minute drive to this store, and the only one around.
They had a couple good deals on things, but over all on a regular day their prices are kinda steep. At least $1-10 depending on merchandise then places like Walmart or Target.
Hallowen 2005 I had asked them to hold a costume for me for my son for about 30 minutes while I went back home & got my money since I forgot my wallet at home. Came back in 25 minutes & the item was GONE. It was not under the counter, in a drawer, or out on the floor....it had disappeared. Well, it happened again! The item I wanted was *not* on sale, I asked then at 11:30am to hold it till 5 - not close as they said they would - 5 till my husband got off so he could get, since it was to be a Christmas present for our daughter. He asked for it & they looked & looked & could not find it ANYWHERE. I specifically had them hold it because that was one of the last 2 dolls they had. Well my husband went through the store & looked up & down the aisles & could not find it.
So would I recommend this store to people? Does the two sales we run into a year or so really benefit us that much to recommend them? Definitely not as a first choice or second choice, but as a last resort. I have had to many bad experiences & know people that have had them too at this store
