Review content:
I spent the weekend at the Courtyard by Marriott at Edison/Woodbridge. It was a nice, clean, good sized hotel with excellent amenities. I particularly appreciated the free wireless internet :)
I stayed as part of a wedding and got a very affordable rate. The breakfast buffet is nice - if you add $10 to your room rate you get a coupon for 4 breakfasts . Make sure to do that, it's definitely worth it. They don't have a lot of seating for breakfast so come early or wait until the morning rush on the weekends. I imagine it's quieter during the week.
There is a pool on site (no lifeguard) and helpful staff. Both times I called before check in, the staff gave me excellent advice on how to get there and what taxi service to call. (The Courtyard Marriott website says that the closest train station is Metropark. Technically Metuchen is closer and will cost less in a cab, so if you are coming from the airport or elsewhere via train, use the Metuchen station stop.)
I highly recommend this location for any wedding or business hotel needs you may have. Next time I need to be in the Edison/Woodbridge area, I will definitely stay here again. For more information, here is their http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/EWRED
