I purchased a rather expensive Serta Perfect Sleeper Mattress Set thinking I would get much satisfaction and wonderful nights sleep with it. Perfect Sleep..... Not at all. Customer Satisfaction.... not at all!!!!! Within less than a month, I called the store where I made the purchase (Clark Dunbar) to complain about the "sagging" in the matress. I was told to give it a couple of months and to be sure to flip the matress at least every other month or so. (When I made the purchase I was told that the matress did not have to be flipped). After 2 months, I went into the store to complain and they told me that they would send someone out to look at it, but if it didn't have a 2" sag (indention) there was nothing they could do. The gentleman came out and looked at the mattress. He could see the two indentions (one where I sleep and one where hubby sleeps). He measured and came up with less than an inch indention. My husband measured using a string from side to side and a level on the string. The indention using this method was well over 2 and 1/2 inches deep on both sides. We went back into the store to complain. Finally, the salesman came out with the inspector and agreed with hubby that the way the inspector took the measurements was incorrect. They replaced our mattress (only the mattress not the box springs). Within a couple of weeks, the new mattress was sagging. I called to complain and they told me to give it a couple of months, etc.,etc. (The mattress was sagging so badly that my daughter, for our Christmas present) bought us one of those memory foam mattress toppers (2" thick) to put ontop of our sagging mattress.) After a few months with the memory foam it was still sagging badly so I called the store again and they finally sent someone out!!! The guy said that it wasn't sagging 2" so they could do nothing about it. That was about 4 or 5 months ago. Now, you can see the body indentions in the mattress even with the memory foam on top. I am thoroughly disgusted with Clark Dunbar and their LACK of Customer Satisfaction. It is not like replacing the mattress would cost them anything because it is under warranty from the manufacture (not a pro rated warranty, either). I will not purchase from Clark Dunbar ever again.
