My husband loves tennis, so I decided to get him the super fancy tennis shoes he wanted. I looked at online stores like Sports Authority, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Modell’s. Those stores all had similar prices but I only have a Sports Authority physical store near me. I thought if I buy from Sports Authority then I would be able to return the shoes to the store if he didn’t like them or if they didn’t fit. This is not the case! Sports Authority doesn’t allow you to return or exchange in store. I even tried going into the store to find the shoes but they didn’t have them in stock. They also had a poor selection of tennis accessories.
At Tennis Warehouse, I found a nice adidas dri fit shirt and matching tennis shorts, top of the line sneakers worn by many tennis pros (with great descriptions and pictures of which tennis pros wore which shoes) and a huge selection of overgrips, dampeners, and other accessories with user reviews.
My husband couldn’t have been happier with what I bought him. He loved all the tennis gear and said the shoes I picked out were even nicer than the ones he originally wanted. He got the Barricade IV’s, worn by Nadal and other pros. Good for all types of foot shapes and pretty fancy looking too.
Tennis Warehouse allows for returns but you have to pay for shipping back to them. The customer service seems great and everything was shipped to me in a timely manner.
