The shopper in everyone likes to find good bargains and I’m no different. Just 25 miles west of Iowa City IA is the Tanger Outlet Mall. It is so easy to get to because it is located on I-80 at the Williamsburg exit, #220. With it’s 55 stores there is indeed something for everyone. The variety of apparel stores includes Liz Claiborne, Gap, Ralph Lauren, Osh Kosh B’Gosh, Eddie Bauer, Wilson Leathers and many others. There are footwear stores carrying all the brand names like Nike, Naturalizers and Reebok to name a few; intimate apparel stores like Legg’s and Jockey; accessory stores such as Coach, Calvin Klein, Pac Sun and Samsonite; housewares stores like Mikasa, and Corningware ; and specialty stores like the Amana Shop, K-B Toys, Le Gourmet Chef and others. My favorite store in the entire mall is the Mikasa Store where you can find many beautiful and useful home items. I’ve gone there for the “just right” wedding gift. Add to all of this there is a choice of eating places like McDonald’s, Arby’s and Subway right at the mall. The Land Mark Restaurant is just across the road. With Williamsburg close by the are even more eating options. The Tanger Outlet Mall is open Monday-Friday from 9 am to 9 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. There is never a parking problem. The Trip is worth the effort so check out this destination on the Tanger Website at http://www.tangeroutlet.com/
