Review content:
Jerzy’s is a lovely little coffee house in Redmond. It looks like it used to be a residence. Their menu feature Crepes as well Panini style sandwiches. With only two crepe makers, service can be a little slow if many are ordering crepes.
The standard crepes menu is offered with sweet as well as savory crepes such as the strawberries and crème or the Ham and Cheese and Turkey & spinach. For those on a short lunch break, they will take orders over phone or fax.
They roast their own coffee and serve tea as well as ice cream and a variety of desserts. Free WiFi is provided with a $5 purchase and they don’t care if you sit all day. There’s an upstairs lounge where groups often meet up and they do have events. The website isn't listed on Judy's book, so here it is. http://jerzyscoffee.com they've got pictures of the interior as well as exterior.
They roast their own coffee and also sell the beans. It’s a good roast and they promise never to over-roast their beans. No nasty bitter stuff trying to be passed off as good coffee here! Good coffee, great crepes, friendly staff more than willing to fill up your tea-pot with more hot water. I haven’t tried their Hot Panini sandwiches as I always go for their crepes.
The staff are young folk and I’ve had mixed up orders or large orders missing an item, but all in all, a great place to visit with friends or while away a rainy afternoon if you’re seeking a different environment in which to work / getting away from the office. Not nearly as loud or noisy as a Starbuck’s. You can’t go wrong here for a great little casual coffee house.
Four nostalgic stars for taking me back my student days and funky little coffee houses when I step in.
