Review content:
Steve's Pizza in the Parkview area of Cranston is the real deal.
The owner is originally from Greece. He has been there for 20 years and has making pizza down to a science. It's a thicker crust and baked in just the right way for the crust to get just a little crispy.
Excellent Italian grinders, the best I've had in Rhode Island.
The place has no ambiance - it has giant scenes of a beach (I think) on the walls and you can tell it hasn't been updated in a long time, but the food is great.
If you get it to go, call at least 30 minutes in advance and give them about 10 minutes longer than they say it will take before you go and get it.
