Review content:
There's a well kept secret in Jackson. Nestled in the corner of Maywood Mart in Jackson is a friendly little eatery/sports bar called Sportsman's Lodge. Now, Sportsman's is certainly not the only quaint little bar whose put TVs on the wall and turned on a game to become a sports bar. But there's something unique about Sportsman's that separates it not only from other bar and grill establishments but most restaurants as well. Their food is amazing. Everything from Alligator Poyboys to mouth-watering salads and great seafood. You can get it all here. Even the fries are hand cut and homemade. The owner, Chris, is the same proprietor previously known for Amerigos and Keegans. So this is not just a sports bar by any means. And that's not to slight the atmosphere. There's all the activities you look for in your favorite watering hole. Pool tables, shuffle board, and video games are suited to occupy anyone's interests. And the waitstaff and bartenders are by far the best in town. So if you're looking for a place to watch the big game with good food, cold beverages and great atmosphere this is the place for you!
