I had fun shopping for discounted items for the holidays at Longs Drug Store and there were lots of Christmas items for .50 each. I purchased 10 stockings, baskets, which I will give out as gifts with baked goods inside, bows, ribbon, gift tags, Hallmark stuffed toys and ornaments. I used my 5.00 off a $25.00 from the Entertainment Book, so now have lots of holiday items and didn't have to store them for a year.
This store has discounted every year before the holidays, so its a great way to buy less than 2 months before I need the items. The checkers are always impressed with the end total and I never have to try and get the item in a crowd.
I like the new design of the store better than the layout before and can quickly find what I am trying to find and the workers always ask, if I need help finding an item.
