Review content:
If you need some expert consultancy--or a total redesign for your garden, Earth Wizardry Gardens (206-323-2310) is a fine choice. For $60 an hour, Richard Greenberg walked through my yard and made recommendations on plants to keep, plants to move, plants to ditch and plants to buy, fertilizers and much more. He took me to see examples of his excellent design work in Seattle and left me with a long list of drought-hardy, low-maintenance plants in time for the transplanting (and fall sale) season. He also does complete design and installation, some tree work and hauling, but it his sensitive advice and expert design sense that I value most. Did I mention he is past president of the Iris Society and regular presenter at the Northwest Flower and Garden show?
