Review content:
Since they have closed the Big Lots near our town I traveled to Hartville to do some shopping at the Big Lots store. My first impression was good due to the recent renovation of the store face; it is very clean and welcoming.
The automatic doors are broke when you first enter and have to use a good amount of force to get into the store. The overall layout of the store is sad, there is far too much merchandise stuffed into a small space. Several times my cart was stuck between isles.
The cost of items are like in most Big Lots with good deals. But it is not shopper friendly, no two way traffic allowed or even possible. The employees are very helpful, talkative, and knowledgeable of where everything is located.
Overall the layout, congested areas, and haphazard stocking left much to be desired. It was not an enjoyable shopping trip.
