Review content:
We are so lucky to live in a city where we can take advantage of the wonderful resources around us, one of them being Camp Watchaug. Run through the YMCA ,this day camp is held in 2 week sessions throughout the summer. There is no lack of activities for the children. They have arts and crafts, hiking, sailing, swimming lessons, archery, and what seems like a gazillion other activities. Even on rainy days the kids do not get bored.
The camp has buses has take the kids to and from camp daily. The counselors go through training and are wonderful and attentive.
The drawback to the camp is that it is expensive but there are need based scholarships available if need be.
