Businiess name:  Gauchos Village Brazilian Steak House
Review by:  Rita Q.
Review content:
Gauchos Village in Glendale is the closest thing you'll get to a true Brazilian bbq outside of Brazil. Unlike other not to be mentioned versions of this dining experience (hint: the one in Burbank), the owners and servers are all actually Brazilian, speak Portuguese and cook the food in the true rodizio style. For those that don't know what Brazilian BBQ is, basically, you pay a flat fee for a large buffet which includes all you can eat cuts of meat brought to your table that are sliced to order at your table. Their meat selections are suburb and their accompaniments are, again, traditional flavors with a huge variety of dishes to choose from. My husband always fills his plate with the chicken stroganoff before the servers even start bringing the skewers of meat. On weekends they have live music and even samba dancers as entertainment. We have been there probably over 30 times and have NEVER been disappointed. The servers are quick, friendly, and informative to newbys. My husband is Portuguese so he loves going there and being able to speak the language with them. If you've tried the other Brazilian bbqs in town, you must check out this one, as it is really head and shoulders above the rest!
