I have given Friendly's at the Newburgh Mall numerous chances. Each time I go here, I am disappointed by the horrendous service.
Last week, the excuse was that there was only one cook working. That's understandable, but why was the waitstaff sitting idle at a table while dirty dishes remained on the tables?
This Friendly's is still good for ice cream sundaes, the restaurant's specialty. The food itself isn't bad either, though sticking with simple fare such as grilled cheese is your best bet. However, if you are looking for fast service, this isn't the place to go right now. Management needs to make some real improvements fast before the business goes under.
