Review content:
We have a driveway that eats gravel. Yup, sinks right into the ground, disappears, and we found ourselves with mud for a driveway the first year we were in the house.
We looked around, and found Youngs Sand and Gravel local to us. We called, and discussed our needs with the gent on the phone. We wanted a larger gravel than the white limestone we had originally on the driveway, figuring we would try something larger that the driveway might not digest so quickly.
The gent on the phone was very courteous and helpful, walking us through the different sizes and types of stone and gravel and helping us decide which to purchase. He also helped us figure how much we would need, as this too was a mystery to us.
He was also very clear in stating that all they do is deliver the stone and spread it down the driveway with the truck. It would be up to us to actually contour the stone to the driveway. We understood that.
The gravel was delivered in a timely manner, spread very effectively so while it did require some work from us, it was not as bad as we had originally thought, and we were finished in the day.
And the pricing made this a very affordable alternative to any kind of paving.
I recommend Youngs Sand and Gravel for your driveway needs. Very knowledgeable, courteous and affordable are the key words here.
