I first started going to this clinic years ago because I liked its "no frills" nature. But a new facility and years later, it has changed:
- EXTRA COSTS. There is now an extra charge for every little thing. For example, it took a lab technician and an extra $12 to conclude that my cat didn't have earmites. (My new vet, by contrast, examined the cat's ears herself and added no extra charge.)
- COMPLICATED TREATMENTS. Treatments are overly elaborate and complicated, like using a sledgehammer on a gnat. The regimen the vet prescribed for a condition my cat had was extensive, time-consuming, and stressful on the cat. I decided not to do it, and the cat healed on its own.
