Me and my husband decided to use Ortega Tax Service a few years ago because we thought they might have a little bit more experience with people in my husband's position, but boy was I wrong. To start off, it took them AGES to fill out all of the paperwork. I mean, we were literally there about 3 or 4 hours. Then, they charged outrageous fees for EVERYTHING. I was so happy to be able to leave, yet within a few months letters started coming from IRS saying we owed in back taxes and blah blah blah. The tax preparer had left tons of areas BLANK. I don't understand what she was doing the four hours we were there then! It was all resolved with a simple call, but it was a huge inconveince! Next time I'll be sticking with H&R Block.
