Businiess name:  Estero Bay State Preserve
Review by:  Jesyka R.
Review content:
Because this beautiful state park won't be the same for long! Looking for a relaxing day on the river? Estero Bay State Preserve is awesome! If you're a kayak-er or canoe-er Estero River makes for a great day trip that will lead you right to the gulf! Putting in at Estero River Tackle and Canoe Outfitters is easy and convenient http://www.judysbook.com/members/Jesyka/posts/2006/9/459563/ While floating down the river you'll encountor beautiful wildlife on the banks and in the water. Trees come together to form canopies, shading you as you make your way down the river. Look up and you might see a Bald Eagle. Pay attention to the river banks and you may catch a glimpse of an alligator. The Estero Bay State Park is the first aquatic preserve that was established in Florida. Not only is it home an abundant variety of wildlife and native trees and plants but it plays a vital role in protecting the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve from the impacts associated with development. Unfortunately, this past year, land along the river was sold to big name developers from out of town. They have blueprints to build high rises and condominiums along the waterfront forever changing the face of this estuary. I can only hope that their plans don't go through and in the mean time enjoy all that this beautiful park has to offer!
