Businiess name:  Northgate Veterinary Clinic

Review content:
Hi!, I recently went to Northgate Vet. Clinic and had a good experience. They have so many doctors, I can understand if someone could have had one that offered something different than what their former vet had told them. Really, though,...I chose them 'cause my boyfriend refused to see our normal vet (who had snapped at him for not knowing the little details of what led to our dogs recent illness), I would've been extremely late to work if I'd chosen any other clinic to handle the sudden appearance of our dog's symptoms, and 'cause they were reccomended by a dog fanatic/owner/dog group leader that I'd known for a few yrs. After I checked-in I was very happy to see that the ofc was clean and well-kept up (which can definitely say something about the business and what they invest into it) and the reception staff was very nice as well. After meeting the Dr. (Phillips), he was very quick to explain what was the most likely cause of my dog's condition. I was very impressed that he could explain this right away, as my dog is a very specific breed that many DVM's might not have known much about. He also, offered a couple popular methods of treatment and the likelihood of success/diff. outcomes with each. After leaving the clinic, still unsure of what route I should take for my dog, I called the vet ofc. to leave a vm for the dr., who actually & amazingly called me back. (I had never known Dr.'s to call people back as they are usually so busy & flooded w/appts. to remember small things like vm). Since I'd told them that I worked non-profit and couldn't afford one of the tx options he worked with me on a simple, more cost effective option then followed up with phone calls to me for the next couple weeks re: the condition of my dog (at no cost to me..by the way). Several weeks later, my dog is so much better now, and though you could attribute that to the dr's advice, the medicine, or just time, I am extremely grateful to have found such a considerate veterinarian that could provide the necessary information, support, referrals, and follow-up that any pet-owner should be able to access when making extremely important decisions for their beloved family members. So, yes, that would be an :' I do reccomend Northgate Veterinary Clinic.' & especially Dr. Phillips if he has an opening. : ) P.S. Their hours are fairly accomodating, which I considered when deciding to go to our normal vet vs. the emer. clinic, and they seemed to have an opening right away. Perfect!
