This place should be on your list next time you go to La Jolla.
Some people think its strange, but I can hardly pass a place selling gelato without trying it. I travel a lot on business, so I've been able to indulge my 'habit' all over the world. I must say that Gelateria Frizzante is now on the top of my list. They have oodles of flavors and some very creative combinations. The best part is that they make the stuff right there using the very best ingriedents. There's not a lot of processed junk and fillers here- just a high quality product. This is the 'real deal' at a very reasonable price.
I have a hard time deciding between the fruit flavors and some of the chocolate combinations. I could spend an entire afternoon tasting all the different flavors and never get tired.
The location is relaxed and casual, the service is great, the shop is clean and tidy and best of all, the Gelato is Outta This World!!! I wish they would open a shop in my hometown! I'll be stopping in again to try another flavor on my next vist to La Jolla.
