Review content:
I visited Max's in St. Louis Park, Minnesota today for the first time. I'd read a story of a woman who switched her career mid-life (from banking to chocolate maker) and knew her chocolates were sold here.
They had samples of chocolates available while I was there, including Chocolat Moderne, the chocolates I had read about. My friend and I were able to sample the chocolate with banana filling and the chocolate ganache. Both were yummy! I now have a package of Banane Flambee which features the soft banana "caramel" center. Yum!
The selection of gifts and jewelry is most visually pleasing and features a selection of items I've not seen elsewhere. The jewelry is extraordinarily beautiful and ranges from small, delicate pieces to large and dramatic pieces. If you're a jewelry fan, do check this store out!
The store is bright, open, wonderfully laid out, and stylishly designed. It's an experience as much as it's a shop. Enjoy!
