Review content:
I have personally had sessions with the guy here, he is *wonderful.* Though I didn't go through his business for it. He volunteers his time once a week at Ebenezer for counseling sessions with patients. I have been going to him for a year now. He is *very* understanding. And when he talks to you, he really talks to you...like your a person. And involves you in the conversation vs "well, I think....." kinda conversations. I had such a good experience with him, that when I asked him whom he recommended for adolescent counseling for my daughter, he not only suggested his practice, but about 3 or 4 others. This practice is owned by himself & his wife. Though he was not able to do the counseling sessions with my daughter do to insurance 'qualifications' - his wife did. And she is just as wonderful as he is!
We have had many behavioral problems with 2 of our children being overly aggressive & such that I had to turn to someone for outside assistance. And I am glad I chose her. She would talk with us, then she would have us step outside the room so she could talk to our daughter. After the session with her & our daughter was over, she would call us back in & give us a "status" update & things that we could try with her. And at teh end of the appointment she let all 3 of kids get a 'prize' out of the goodie box...even though she was only seeing our oldest daughter.
They are REALLY special people! They are so caring & understanding. I highly recommend these folks!
